But everything changed during his senior year when his grandmother suffered a fall that led to a serious head injury. She never fully recovered, and that experience stayed with him.

He recalls thinking, “I wish I could have helped her avoid that fall.” That moment became a turning point. He realized that he wanted a career where he could directly impact the health, strength, and independence of older adults. 

That desire guided him into personal training—work that would eventually grow into his role as a top senior fitness trainer in Portland. Along the way, he cultivated the kind of purpose, compassion and education needed to help seniors deal with a host of age-related health and wellness challenges.
